Product of the Day: Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss

For my bachelorette party over the weekend, my fabulous friends gifted each lady with Urban Decay’s new Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss. First of all, how cute is the packaging? With the tilt of the tube, a dapper dude is stripped down to his undies. Plus the flat tube of gloss fits in your pocket for instant touch-ups. As half of the lipglosschicas duo, this was a no brainer for our weekend. I wore Max (nude, peachy perfection) all weekend long and it’s easily my new favorite lip gloss. The crème brulee-scented formula gave my lips the right amount of pigment and shine. Beauty Obsession: Oribe Signature Shampoo & Conditioner

Celebrity hair stylist Oribe is known for glamorous hairstyles and probably most famous for his work with Jennifer Lopez. When his hair care launched last year, naturally I was interested in lathering up. I recently ran out of my usual Kerastase Bain Satin which gave me the perfect opportunity to experiment. Mouth-watering packaging aside, Oribe’s Signature Shampoo & Conditioner did not disappoint. My fine hair felt so soft and manageable, plus smelled great all day. Mai and I love Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Eye liners so when my friend at Make Up For Ever showed me the new Aqua Cream Eye Shadow a few weeks ago, I was immediately intrigued. Ultra-pigmented, luminous and doesn’t crease...um, what more could I ask for in a cream shadow? Thank you MUFE for this long-lasting gorgeousness. Beauty Find: Dior Smoothing Lip Polish

Our friend makeup artist Amy Chance introduced me to this Dior Addict lip gloss at the Four Season’s last month. Aside from the fact that Mai, Amy and I had a blast and ate lots of goodness, it's the gloss I can't get out of my head. I was especially won over by its spin-on applicator. I mean, how brilliant is that? And so, I hit up Sephora this week and picked me up a Dior Addict Lip Polish in 004 (the newest shade in pale pink). The result? Ultra-smooth and ultra-shiny lips, without any stickiness. The revolutionary applicator has me all kinds of wound up. Yes, I bought this gloss for the roll on applicator which picks up just the right amount of product and rolls it onto my lips. But I’m keeping it because I love the overall effect of smooth lips and the color is just plain sexy.

Beauty Obsession: Korres Guava Body Butter

When it comes to beauty products, Mai and I tend to agree on most things. The one exception? Korres Guava Body Butter. In fact, anything that smells like a concoction of coconut and sun tan lotion, I love. That’s not so much the case for Mai. It’s kind of become a joke among us which brings me back to Korres Guava Body Butter, perhaps my favorite summer beauty indulgence. I discovered it in 2005 when I carried a few Korres products at The Beauty Closet and keep a stash of it around all year. I go through it pretty fast, so I am thrilled to see this new jumbo sized tube. I love how moisturizing it is, but I’m a sucker for it’s scent.
