Marley Shelton: Untitled Premiere

Today, I did Marley's makeup for the premiere of Untitled. She's wearing a navy dress by Tibi, so I gave her sexy, smokey eyes do go with it. Here's what I used: For her face, I started by applying Mark For Goodness Face Moisturizer all over her skin. Next, I used Mark Face Xpert in Golden and applied it with the foundation brush. I put Mark Good Riddance Concealer in Light/Medium around her nose and under her eyes. I set her foundation with Mark Powder Buff in Honey using the powder brush. After the powder has set the foundation, I dusted Mark Bronze Pro in Pro Golden to her cheeks, chin and forehead, using the blush/bronzer brush. For her eyes, I swept on I-Mark in Night Owl layered with Corset. I applied it with the all over eye shadow brush from the lashline to the crease. I took the angled contour eye shadow brush and blended the shadows towards the brows. Next, I lined the inner rim of her eyes with Mark Eyemarker in Jet. Then, I smudged Corset and Night Owl underneath, along the lower lashes, using the eyeliner brush. Finally, I used two coats of Lash Splash Mascara in Black. For her lips, I used Mark Dew Drenched in Skinny Dip.

Ali Larter: Cirque De Soleil Opening Night Gala

I was so excited to do Ali's makeup for this event because she currently has red hair while filming Resident Evil 4. It was fun and different, to be able to play with Ali's face with this beautiful red hair! For Ali's face, I started with Mark For Goodness Face Moisturizer. Then, I applied Mark Face Xpert in Honey using the foundation brush. I used Mark Get Bright in Natural underneath her eyes. Then, I used Mark Good Riddance in Light/Medium around her nose as a concealer. I set her foundation with Mark Matte-nificent Powder in Natural Buff using the powder brush. For her cheeks, I swept Mark Good Glowing Mosaic Blush in Chica using the blush/bronzer brush. For her eyes, I mixed I-Mark in Minx and Corset. I layered them from her lashline to her crease using the all over eye shadow. Then I blended the shadows into her crease using the angled contour eye shadow brush. I used the eyeliner brush to smudge the shadows underneath her lower lashes. Finally to finish her eyes, I applied two coats of Mark Make It Big Mascara in Raven. For her lips, I layered Mark Dew Drenched in Dew followed by Mark Pro Gloss in Swell.

Beauty Find: LaRocca Skincare

Every so often, I stumble upon a product that impresses me enough to be added to my beauty routine. This recently happened with LaRocca C-Gold Gel. LaRocca is created by Laura DeLuisa LaRocca who co-created DuWop cosmetics. I met Laura years ago when she was at DuWop so I was thrilled to learn she had created this lovely range of products founded on the philosophy of the natural healing and anti-aging properties of Gold. C-Gold Gel is a velvety serum made with 24K gold that helps stimulate cell regeneration, protect against UVA/UVB rays and repair sun damage, making skin appear smoother, firmer and healthier. I applied the serum one morning before I put on my foundation and was instantly impressed. Later that day, a publicist asked if I had recently had a facial because my skin looked so luminous. And now I use this serum when I want my complexion to glow. Available at www.laroccaskincare.com
