Kristen Bell: Grammy Awards 2010

Tonight I did Kristen's makeup for the Grammys. Kristen is wearing a long, black dress with a cut out design along the bustline. The dress is by Etro. I wanted to make her eyes the focus on her face. Here's what I used:

For her face, I used Mark Calm & Composed moisturizer all over. Then, I applied Mark Face Xpert liquid foundation in Buff using the foundation brush. Also, I used Mark Good Riddance in Fair/Light wherever there was any redness. I applied Mark Get Bright in Light underneath her eyes as a highlighting concealer using the concealer brush. Then, to set her foundation, I brushed on Mark Matte-nificent Powder in Nude Ivory using the powder brush. Once her face set, I brushed Mark Good Glowing Mosaic Blush in Sandy to the apple of her cheeks using the blush/bronzer brush. For her eyes, I started by smudging Mark Eyemarker Pencil in Jet along the top of her lashline using the eyeliner brush. I extended the liner so that it looked like a smudged cat eye. Then I mixed I-Mark eyeshadows in Tiki and Magic and placed it on her eyelids using the eye shadow brush. I took the angled contour eye shadow brush and used it to soften the edge on her lid by blending it back and forth. Then I mixed both I-Mark shadows and smudged it along her lower lashes using the eyeliner brush. I finished the eyes with two coats of Mark Lash Splash Mascara in Black, using it on both her upper and lower lashes. For her lips, I applied Glow Baby Glow in M.Powerment Peach.
