Ashley Greene: Inside the Mark Studio in NY

I did Ashley Greene’s makeup for her Mark press launch. Here's what I used: For the face, I started with Mark Calm and Composed Moisturizer. I used Mark Good Riddance Concealer in Light/Medium under her eyes and around her nose. Then I applied Mark Powder Buff in Natural with the powder brush. To the apple of the cheeks, I applied Good Glowing in Cameo Glo and then used Mark Touch and Glow to highlight cheek bones using the angled contour face brush. For her eyes, I prepped the eyes with Please Hold Eye Primer in Light/Medium. I applied the light shade of Keep It Going Longwear Eyeshadow & Eyeliner Duo in Exposure to her inner eyelid, as a highlighter, using the flat eyeliner brush. Then I smudged Keep It Going, the dark brown shade of Exposure, along the top and bottom lashline using the flat eyeliner brush. Once all the creams were on, I warmed up the crease of the eye with I-Mark eyeshadow in Tiki, using the angled contour eyeshadow brush. This brush helps to blend and soften the shadow into the crease. I used an eyeliner brush to smudge Tiki along the bottom lashes, too. Next, I used On the Edge liquid eyeliner in Cleo on the top lash line to define the eye. I finished the eyes with two coats of Mark Make It Big Mascara in Raven. For the lips, I mixed Mark Lipclicks in Whiney and Cha Cha and then added Lots of Lacquer Gloss in Pop.

Ginnifer Goodwin: Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Ginnifer wore a short, purple strapless dress to the Vanity Fair Oscar party and she wanted her makeup to be fun and flirty. Mai used mark c-thru in Nude all over her skin and used mark concealer in fair wherever needed. She applied mark Matte-nificent Oil Absorbing Powder in Nude Ivory on the t-zone. For her eyes, Mai used I-mark shadow in Corset from lashline to crease and smudged it underneath as liner. She then used On the Edge Liquid Liner in Cleo along the top lash line and followed with two coats of Make it Big mascara in Raven. For the cheeks, she used Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint n Nude. She finished off her look with mark Glow Baby Glow lip gloss in Sizzle.

Miley Cyrus: American Music Awards

Miley Cyrus looked radiant at the 38th American Music Awards last night. (And I'm not just saying that because Mai did her makeup.)

To get her red carpet look, Mai used all mark cosmetics. She started with mark I-Glimmer Illuminating Eye Color in Bronzed and Smoked. She lined eyes with mark On the Edge Hook Up Liquid Eyeliner in Cleo, starting from the middle of the eye and gently winged it upwards and outwards. Her lashes were coated with four coats of mark Make It Big Lash Plumping Mascara in Raven. For foundation, Mai applied mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Natural with the mark Foundation Brush only where needed. She followed with Matte-nificent Oil-Absorbing Powder in Buff/Natural. For blush, Mai applied mark Good Glowing Blush Custom Color Palette in Mosaic and Golden Glo to the apples of Miley's cheeks. She finished her look with mark Glow Baby Glow Hook Up Lip Gloss in Secret.

Beauty Obsession: mark Pro Gloss Hook Up Plumping Lip Shine

When it comes to lip gloss we tend to be non-commital and difficult to please. But when we find that one, we hold on to it, stash it in our makeup bag, and wear it regularly. That is, until another gloss woos us with promises of luscious lips and succulent shades. In an industry, where the next “it” product is being created as we type, we don’t give our love away so easily.

That was until we met Mark Pro Gloss Hook Up Plumping Lip Shine. The gloss goes on so smooth and imparts just a hint of color giving lips a perfect shine without the stickiness. As Mai put it, “Your lips look like they are coated with honey.” Unlike many plumping glosses, this one doesn’t dry out our lips. And the price is right. For only $5, we'll be hooking up all summer with mark lip shine.
